I’ve seen many cute earrings online with tokens, but unfortunately cannot pull off big danglies due to my glasses. It feels like too much stuff is hanging off my head. Glasses and big earrings make me feel like I’m wearing those novelty Groucho Marx glasses with the eyebrows, nose and mustache. Too much.

Gram staining, the process of putting dye onto a slide to identify bacteria, makes the BV/gardnerella appear as purple dots. I’m hopeless at reading the slides under microscope, but I love the process of dropping crystal violet and iodine.
As Halloween is fast approaching, I thought I would share an easy relatively inexpensive (<$20) costume idea: a subway stop. In addition to being inexpensive, this costume is comfortable enough to wear all evening.
