Clementine Pizzelles with dark chocolate
I made these so long ago, I honestly don’t remember the recipe.
But, if I were to try to make it again, I would add clementine zest to a vanilla pizzelle recipe. Melt chocolate chips with a splash of vegetable oil. You can figure it out!
Eyes of Tammy Faye nap goggles
Nap goggles are for taking a midday nap without ruining your eye makeup. I tried to see if anyone has done this before, and found that someone HAS thought of shower goggles, to take a midday shower with eye makeup. Those, however were swimming goggles, and these are looser, non hermetically sealed safety googles. I’ve painted these is a “fun” Eyes of Tammy Faye motif, which helps keep that afternoon light out.
Upholstered button collection
When my sister was born (or very young) she was gifted a quilted banner with buttons. My parents would save buttons for her for her display, and she amassed a pretty big collection. The banner was a cornflower blue ditsy print, which just didn’t have a place in my sisters adult home.
